
In 2012 after 7 years of living with endometriosis I was at the consultant’s office expecting to get the good news that all was well and off I’d go and live happily ever after. So it was a bit of a shock to find out I would continue to suffer from adhesions and in his words he’d no doubt see me again.
That for me was a “lightbulb moment” when I knew I needed to do something, anything to try and delay the inevitable of having to have more surgery.
