NY Resolution

After an uncomfortable start to the New Year being downstairs as in alot of pain and hard to breathe when led down decided to try and make more of an effort with my diet. To that end downloaded the My plate app and have been logging everything. I know it’s only a rough guide but I can see from the graph how my daily fat intake is going.

Have bought some rice cakes to eat but was a bit naughty the day after New Years Day. It comes in waves and I think I’ve been really good then go off the rails slightly. I wonder if this is how people on diets feel?

Found out over the Christmas period from a pancreas support group that any form of exercise where you exert yourself can cause a pancreatic attack the example they gave was raking leaves. Wasn’t expecting that.

I’ve started doing something called RED whereby you do a form of exercise each day so far I’ve done two dog walks but today on day 3 I did the first run a nice 7k and struggled with breathing. Then felt really unwell afterwards maybe going out to work on the garden sowing some seeds and sorting out the fleece covering the bed before having a drink and something to eat wasn’t good. Now up again with the same pain and breathing problems as on NYE.

Not sure whether to stop running for a while and just walk/bike and see how I get on for a week of so.
