My decision to stop exercising for a while was pretty timely in the end because the next day just changing the bed took it out of me and I had to get Alan to help. My breathing has been really laboured and I’ve really not felt like doing much and in a way luckily with Alan putting himself out of action for a few days with his back I’ve been able to pace myself and not do too much so just walking Pip has been great. It has definitely helped me to feel better although one walk up a hill proved that I probably wasn’t ready to do too much exercise.

In the end I took 9 days off no yoga, biking or running just out with Pip but never very far and at my pace. I did go running with Alan on Tuesday and actually felt really good and realised I was running faster than I thought and it wasn’t until the last km I was again struggling with breathing but was really pleased well that was until an hour or so later when I didn’t feel too good. So have given yoga a miss and haven’t run since although did today Saturday bike up to the village and back. It definitely took it out of me going up there so had a few pauses. We ended up in a different bar for a coffee as the one we had planned to go to was closed. So temptation was about in the form of baguettes and tostadas and Alan succumbed although I didn’t but did try a piece of bread and calamari but instantly felt ill so Alan gave me the top part of his baguette which was clean no oil or anything on it which helped. Picked up some more marshmallows as I know they help.

Have also been really ruthless with eating now using an app to help give me a rough guide of the fat intake and I’m finding the days I can reduce it quite low I feel good for it. Might need to live on pumpkin soup for a while.
